Okay, the title is a bit silly coming from a guy that has a job working at an office from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, but this post is not about me, it’s about my buddy Jay Wessman’s new video series course called Screw95.
I do not usually recommend the “courses” that internet marketing “gurus” put out, but Jay isn’t an internet marketing guru and when he emailed me about Screw95 I was intrigued. Jay and I had spoken a few times on Skype and he is an active member of AffiliateFix and The Dojo. His blog is also listed on affposts and I had read some of his articles on there. Well, he emailed me a login to check out his Screw95 course and when I finally did I was really impressed!
Jay is a “Stoner”
Before I go into what Screw95 is all about and what I learned from it, I should explain a few things about it’s creator, Jay Wessman. Jay is a self proclaimed “stoner” and has branded himself as such. His blog is even called Lazy Ass Stoner. His approach and brand are unique. It’s not the type of branding I would recommend, but he’s pulled it off very well and you can tell that he’s a very laid back and intelligent person. As I made my way through his video series I was super impressed about how composed he was during them and how well put together they are.
I think Jay is the perfect example of how you should not “judge a book by it’s cover” because I know there are probably a lot of people in our industry that wouldn’t be cool with his approach, but could learn a ton from him.
I honestly did not expect to learn a single thing going through his videos, but I was completely wrong.
Best Video Series on Setting Up and Promoting a Website
Now that I have given you an idea about who it’s creator is, let me explain why I think Screw95 is probably the best video series on setting up and promoting a website. The series is setup with 5 different “Stages” and each Stage has multiple videos going through the information about that Stage.
The 5 Stages of Screw95 are:
- Choosing a Niche
- Setting Up A Site
- Adding Products
- Dominating Search
- Dominating Social
and then there are 3 Bonus videos as well:
- Scaling Up
- Case Studies
- Private Forums
As I said, each Stage has multiple videos going over the information. The videos are very well put together. They’re easy to follow and you can tell he put a lot of time and effort into not only coming up and organizing the information, but also with creating the videos so it’s presented in the best way possible. I’m so impressed by Jay’s videos that in the future I would definitely try to hire him to do editing if I were going to create a video series of my own.
What Did I Learn?
Jay goes in-depth on how to find a good niche using keyword research and then setting up a website using WordPress for that niche. The best part about this entire process, and something Jay really pushes, is that you do not need any coding knowledge really to do any of the steps in his course. I have put together hundreds of sites and done a ton of keyword research over the years so I didn’t really learn a lot during the first few Stages, but Jay does go over some great examples of how to find a good niche with your keyword research that I think is really important and is definitely overlooked by a lot of people.
Stages 4 and 5 are really where I found the most value. Jay spends a ton of time and has 15 fantastic videos for these 2 Stages going over everything you need to know about dominating search (SEO) and social.
I consider myself an expert on social media and Jay absolutely blew my mind with his video on Tumblr. I’ve used that single video to generate hundreds of FREE targeted clicks daily reaching a new audience I was missing before. I’m still building up my Tumblr presence, but I have no doubt I’ll be generating a few thousand more clicks a day in the next few months from Tumblr just from the information directly from Jay’s video.
Should I Buy Screw95?
Like I said, when I first started watching the Screw95 videos I did not think there was a chance I was going to actually learn anything from them and then Jay blew my mind with some awesome tips. If you’re struggling to generate traffic and you’re interested in learning how to create your own website and use that website to drive traffic to affiliate offers then I really think you need to buy Screw95.
You can use Screw95 to build a site that you can monetize with a bunch of a different sources and PeerFly is definitely one of them. I’m happy to help with any questions you have about the course and I’m going to ask Jay to keep an eye on the comments from this post as well. Let us know if you have any questions.
Check it out and let’s make some money!
I had my first Tumblr post go viral thanks to Screw95 and it has generated over 70,000 reblogs and likes!
