Following in the footsteps of my buddy Sté Kerwer of Dukeo.com, I have decided to have my own comment contest. There have been a lot more comments posted on my recent articles than normal and traffic has been picking up nicely. So, it’s time to give back.

Before I go into detail on what you have to do to participate in my contest, here is a little bit of information on the comment contest that is being held at Dukeo (and what gave me the idea for this one). Sté has a great blog and posts a few articles each day, so there is plenty of content to read and comment on. To help encourage more engagement, he’s running a pretty sweet contest with some awesome prizes.

To participate in his contest, all you have to do is sign up for his newsletter and comment on his posts. That’s it. Check out these awesome prizes!

Commenting Contest’s Prizes

There will be 4 winners to this commenting contest:

1st Winner: The person with the most comments.
Prize: Amazon Kindle OR Ipod Nano (your choice)

2nd Winner: The second person with the most comments.
Prize: Ipod Shuffle

1st Random Winner: A third winner will be randomly selected from the comments posted by participants (1 comment posted = 1 chance to win).

2nd Random Winner: A fourth winner will be randomly selected from the comments posted by participants (1 comment posted = 1 chance to win).

The first two winners will be the top commenters. It’s a little late in the contest to win those, but if you’re very active you may be able to pull it off. The contest doesn’t end until July 6th.

The last two prize winners will be randomly drawn from all the people commenting on the posts. You can also get more entries in the random drawing if you post about the contest on your own blog, but I doubt anyone will do that ;)

Some of you may remember my review on make money online blog, Dukeo.com. If not, go read it. Anyway, I was one of the lucky winners for a contest Dukeo.com was putting on and with it won a sweet new caricature of myself!

Luke Kling 550x778 My Caricature!

Stéphane was nice enough to not only give me the caricature, but also did one of his “Who Is” articles on me. Check it out at Who Is Luke Kling? I have won quite a few contests in my life, but this is definitely one of my favorites. A few years ago I won an iPad from a contest Shoemoney did and I may be more excited about this caricature. I’ve always wanted one and this one turned out great.

My plan is to completely redesign my blog based on this caricature. I’ve created WordPress themes before, but this is a pretty big venture for me. I am not sure when it will be complete, but it’s definitely on my priority list. I also have been posting on Fiverr to get someone to turn my caricature into a layered PSD and make it so I have a PeerFly shirt on and possibly some Nike Air Max shoes :)

I won a caricature!

Dukeo.com has really been getting quite a bit of publicity lately in the affiliate marketing realm. I first came upon the site when someone I follow on Twitter tweeted about the post Who is Ryan Eagle. I was amazed by the great caricature featured in the post and started to look around at all the others on the site. They are truly amazing drawings!

So, after roaming through the site’s gallery and checking out all the caricatures I started to read through some of the blog posts. Stéphane Kerwer, the guy who runs dukeo, really knows his stuff. His blog is fairly new, but it’s not hard to see that he has been at the “make money online game” for awhile.

SEO

Stéphane’s most popular topic to talk about is SEO. He talks about all the different aspects of SEO (on page, off page, tools, etc.) and has some really great posts that I would recommend to anyone looking to learn about SEO. I have been reading and practicing different SEO methods for years and I have learned a thing or two from him.

To show that he really knows his stuff do a Google search for Affiliate Paying. As of this post he is currently ranked #1! I’m not sure how long that will last, but it’s still pretty impressive.

Blogging

Obviously Stéphane has a passion for blogging or he wouldn’t be working so hard to build a popular blog. However, when looking through his articles you can easily see that he is trying to push other people who have a passion for blogging in the right direction as well. He has written a few dozen articles on different blogging techniques, how to use WordPress, different WordPress plugins that you should use (he recommended Tweet Old Post to me and it’s really helped increase my overall Twitter traffic), and much more. If you’re a blogger definitely take a look through his blogging posts.

Review Blog. Win Caricature.

Being the creative person that he is, Stéphane came up with a pretty cool contest that I (with this post) am participating in. In order to enter the contest you simply write a review of his blog and your review is your entry to win the prize. For prizes, he is giving away two free caricature drawings. I mentioned above how I feel about those caricatures, so you can imagine how much I want to win. So, I’ve come up with my own contest to run along with his contest and hopefully get me chosen as a winner.

I am giving away a free PeerFly shirt to a random person who leaves a comment on this post telling Stephane to choose me as a caricature winner.
