Can I promote PeerFly offers on YouTube?

We have recently had a lot of publishers start to focus part of their affiliate marketing strategy on YouTube. YouTube is a great place to pick up some free traffic for your affiliate marketing campaigns, but we do have some guidelines that we require all PeerFly publishers to follow if they want to promote on YouTube and those are:

  1. The offer must have Social PPC listed under Allowed Marketing.
  2. You must own the rights to the video content you are promoting on.
  3. The offer must be related to the video content.
  4. You must use a redirect on your own domain if you are going to direct link.
  5. You are not allowed to post links in the comment sections of the video, just the description and in your video.

This rule has been set in place because, although you are not technically doing pay per click advertising, it is still social traffic and in order to promote on social traffic our advertisers must agree that they want that type of traffic being used to promote their offer.

You must own the rights to the video content you are promoting on.
We cannot allow you to promote our offers on videos with content that you do not own. You will have to create your own videos or have videos created for you.

The offer must be related to the video content.
If you’re going to promote an offer on a YouTube video than the offer needs to be related to the video. This will help keep the quality of the traffic up for the advertiser and at the same time should help increase your conversion rate. So, if you want to promote an offer for the new iPhone 4S, make a video about it. Don’t make a video about how to teach your dog fetch (although we do have some great dog offers as well).

We have some absolutely amazing affiliate offers on PeerFly that are doing great and they are being overlooked by a lot of our publishers. On our PeerFly Dashboard we list our popular offers and latest offers and have links to our top converting offers, but with nearly 1,200 offers I can see why a lot of great offers are missed. So, I have compiled a list of our top 100 converting offers as of today. I will try to post a list at least once a month so you can keep up to date on what is doing best at PeerFly.

With over 1,000 active offers, it’s sometimes hard to decide which ones to promote. Yes, we have a pretty good offer search system and I created PeerFly Offers to help, but it’s still not the easiest task. This is especially true when you have a network of sites in different niches and you are just trying to monetize the traffic with something besides Google AdSense. Because of all this, I get a lot of requests from my PeerFly publishers for a simple offer rotator where they can just copy and paste a script on their site and it’ll rotate offers for them. So, I created PeerFlyBanners.com.

PeerFly Banners is a simple service that does exactly what I described above. It allows you to setup a quick script that you can put on your website and it’ll automatically rotate our 1,000+ affiliate offers on PeerFly based on the vertical you select and the banner size.

Create Your Script

I have intentionally made it super easy to use this service. Everything you need is available to you on the homepage. You will need to complete the form with the following information.

  • PFID – Your PeerFly ID, which you can find when you login to PeerFly. You must be an approved publisher. If you are not, Join PeerFly.
  • Verticals – Choose the verticals you would like the site to grab offers and banners from. If you do not care, you can select All Verticals.
  • Banner Size – Choose the size banner you would like to display. There are several sizes to choose from.

Once you have entered that information push Generate Code and the site will generate a javascript code snippit you can place on your site and it will automatically rotate offers based on the information you provided above.

All clicks generated will go to your PeerFly affiliate link and you will be able to see them and any conversions on your PeerFly Reports page. The subid peerflybanners is placed in the link so you will be able to see that on your reports.

Please feel free to take a look at the site and test it out. The offers and banners update automatically everyday. Right now there are 6,524 different banners being rotated.
