The PPV Marketing Strategy That Works

Spy on live PPV campaigns

The following is a guest post by Antonio Janko, a successful internet marketer who decided to share some great information on PPV marketing and a special offer for his new PPV spying tool, Unfold Ads.

PPV marketing has been proved to be one of the most successful forms of online marketing among many advertisers and publishers. Although it looks like one of the easiest and cheapest ways to get traffic, a lot of marketers are still struggling with setting up their first profitable campaign.

For those who are not familiar with PPV marketing, check out Luke’s LeadImpact PPV Review. Leadimpact is one of the biggest PPV networks and I suggest you to start there if you don’t have an account on any other PPV network yet.

How To Make A Profitable PPV Campaign

I will go over each step of making a successful PPV campaign and also show you a tricky way that will allow you to basically skip all the steps and start running campaigns that are already profitable. But before that, let’s cover some basics…

First of all, let’s see what you need to make it happen. Here is basically all you need to set up a profitable PPV campaign:

Traffic Sources Based On Experience

Traffic Source based on Experience

There are a ton of different traffic sources out there you can run your affiliate marketing campaigns on and one of the easiest things you can do is completely overwhelm yourself by trying to run campaigns at all of them at the same time. I think it’s really important that you choose a traffic source, test a spread of campaigns on that traffic source, optimize your campaigns, and then scale until you hit a ceiling. If you simply setup campaigns on a bunch of different traffic sources all at once you are going to spread yourself too thin. So, what traffic sources do I suggest focusing on based on your experience as an affiliate marketer?

I’ve broken down your possible experience level into four different levels. Those levels are Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior. Here is an explanation of each level and one traffic source I suggest based on that level. Remember, these are simply my suggestions based on my experiences working with my publishers. You should look into different traffic sources on your own, but these are the ones I suggest.

LeadImpact to PeerFly Keyword Tracking with LI2PF.com

li2pf leadimpact keyword tracking

Before I start talking about LI2PF.com and how awesome it is, welcome to my new blog design! You may have stopped by already, but this is my first post with the new design. I’m really excited about the new redesign and everything it has to offer, but I’ll write a complete post about that later. Now, on to LI2PF.

I made a post last month on how to pass your keywords from LeadImpact into your affiliate links so you know what keywords and targets are converting for you. It’s really important to be able to collect that data so you can optimize your campaign and remove bad performing sources. I received a lot of great feedback from my PeerFly publishers who are using LeadImpact and weren’t quite sure how to pass that information. I also had quite a people new to the affiliate industry explain to me that they had absolutely no idea how to set up the redirect page themselves and after a few frustrating conversations, I decided to make a tool to make the whole process a lot easier.

Passing Keywords with LeadImpact

Passing Keywords with LeadImpact

As long as you have run at least one affiliate campaign, you have a pretty good idea how important it is that you collect as much data as possible on each campaign you run so you can optimize and essentially get the most money out of your campaign as possible. Some traffic sources make it a real pain to collect the data required in order to optimize your campaign. One of the main reasons I push 7Search to my new publishers so hard is because of how easy they make it to collect data from the traffic you run with them. Well, one traffic source which I am very fond of doe not make it quite so easy. That traffic source is LeadImpact. So, here is how you can pass keywords from your LeadImpact campaign to your PeerFly SubID.

LeadImpact Keyword Pass-Through

Being able to pass the keyword (or URL) from your LeadImpact campaign will really help when you go to optimize it. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with the LeadImpact Conversion Script, but by passing the keyword as a SubID into your PeerFly link you can bypass that issue and you’ll actually have an easier time optimizing → Continue Reading
