Affiliate Summit East Wrap Up #ASE15

Affiliate Summit East 2015 ASE15

The Affiliate Summit conference seems to get better each year and this year was no different. I got back from New York a few weeks ago, but I am just now getting caught up and I still have some business cards to follow up on!

There are two main “events” during the conference. The first, Meet Market, is on the first day of the conference (Sunday). The second, Exhibit Hall, is on Monday and Tuesday. This year, PeerFly only exhibited during the Meet Market on Sunday. There were four of us who attended to work the Meet Market and then we scheduled meetings on Monday and Tuesday.

The Meet Market was packed and I got to meet and talk to a bunch of awesome publishers and clients we work with at PeerFly.

The Meet Market has somewhat transformed into a mini Exhibit Hall. A few years ago it was more like a speed dating event where people quickly made their way through, stopped at most tables, gave a quick pitch, and then either scheduled a meeting or moved on.

However, over the past few shows, the Meet Market has gotten bigger, more space is provided for the tables, and it’s not quite as fast → Continue Reading

Capture Your Visitors Attention with Engagifire

Engagifire Review

By the time you get done reading this, there should be a popup on your screen that I created using the most recent tool added to my blogging and marketing toolbox, Engagifire.

Engagifire is a very cool piece of software that allows you to easily create popups or slide-ins which you can add to your blog or website to capture your visitors attention and then entice them to perform an action you want them to perform.

You should have seen the example popup on this article, but I’m going to reference another Engagifire popup I created to explain why this is such an awesome tool.

I created an Engagifire popup and added it to my It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia fan site (the same one I got a million pageviews on a few months ago).

Creating an awesome looking popup like the one above is really easy with Engagifire. They have an amazing builder tool that allows you to drag and drop components into your popup. They also have a library of templates to help you get started and a few built in specifically for Teespring campaigns, which is pretty cool.

On I am using Engagifire to generate shirt → Continue Reading

How to use AdsBridge to Track Affiliate Campaigns

AdsBridge Review

For a long time pretty much every affiliate was using Prosper202 to track their affiliate campaigns. Over the past year, we have seen the tracking landscape change quite a bit and there are a lot of great new options available. One of those options is AdsBridge.

Like other new tracking solutions, AdsBridge is a hosted platform. That means you do not have to worry about the headache of purchasing hosting, installing the tracking software yourself, and hoping your server stays up when you finally get a big campaign going. AdsBridge takes care of all that for you. Some affiliates are against using hosted tracking solutions, but I’m all for it. The less I have to worry about, the better!

AdsBridge Features

One of the things I really like about AdsBridge is that it’s packed full of features. They are really attempting to go above and beyond just being a tracking solution. For example, they have a nice big library of free landing page templates. They also allow you to create as many subdomains for your tracking as you want, for free.

The Pro account for AdsBridge is $79/month with up to 1,000,000 visits, but they have a free Basic account you → Continue Reading

From 0 to 1,125,671 Pageviews in a Month

ItsAlways Million Pageviews

Last month I decided to try something new. I have been tackling a lot of big projects so I decided to take a break from all that and try something a little easier and created a WordPress blog for one of my favorite TV shows, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. WordPress blogs are easy to setup and with the new season of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia right around the corner (it started January 14th), I thought it would be fun to create some content for the blog.

I have also a very large audience for this particular show. I created my first Facebook Page for it on October 13, 2011. Since then, I have accumulated an audience of:

Facebook Pages (6): 543,206 Likes Twitter: 114,900 followers Email subscribers: 60,000 Tumblr: 4,840 Pinterest: 523

My primary channels and focus for this niche has been my 6 different Facebook Pages and the Twitter account. The email list is nice, but I do not mail it often, and the Tumblr/Pinterest users are not as engaged as my Twitter/Facebook audience.

My goal with this blog was to try to generate a 1,000,000 pageviews in 1 month from my social media audience. I have been reading article → Continue Reading
