PeerFly Earning Reports

Reports featured

So, you start running traffic at PeerFly and you are earning some money, how can you use our reports page to help optimize your campaigns to earn the most money possible? We have created our reports page to help you do this. The first thing that it’s important to understand is how to use subids.

Add Subids to your PeerFly Links

Adding subids to your PeerFly links is pretty simple. You can do this on our offer pages. There are three spots for subids so you can really make each link unique.

Create a Report

Creating a report of your PeerFly traffic is also pretty easy. Simply go to your Reports page once you are logged into PeerFly and select the date range you would like to see the report for. You have the option to choose a relative date (today, yesterday, past week, etc.) or an absolute date.

Once you create your report will you will see every single offer that you have generated a click on in that time period. You can see your total clicks, total conversions, epc, conversion rate, and total earnings for each offer on the list. At the bottom of the table it shows your overall totals.

Seeing offers on your PeerFly Report that you did not promote?
You will see clicks on offers you are not promoting if someone from outside of an offer’s Allowed Countries clicks on your link. They are taken to an offer that accepts traffic from their country and you are credited for the click and lead/sale if one is made.

View Subid Reports

It’s pretty simple to view your subid reports. Simply click the peerfly subid PeerFly Earning Reports next to the offer name. Once clicked the subid report will expand. With this you can see the statistics broken down for each subid for that offer. This is handy if you are running the same offer with several traffic sources. You can distinguish between the sources by using a subid and optimize your campaign based on the individual statistics. It’s also great for split testing different landing pages and/or direct linking.

Export Statistics to CSV

At the bottom of your reports page you also have the option to download the report you created to open in Excel (CSV). Simply click the export PeerFly Earning ReportsExport Raw Click Data link to download it.

That pretty much sums up our Reports page at PeerFly. It is also one of the last drafts I have saved in my PeerFly FAQ series. If you have any questions or have a topic I have not covered that you would like to see me cover about PeerFly please let me know! You’re welcome to comment below or contact me :)

PeerFly Referral Program

PeerFly Referrals

Did you know that many of the big name bloggers in the affiliate marketing industry make a chunk of their income from affiliate network referrals? I’m not saying that’s where all of their income comes from or even a majority, but many of them make a decent amount just off their referrals. Zac Johnson’s referrals from Neverblue have earned over $1,000,000! Tyler Cruz has also referred publishers to different affiliate networks and they have earned over $1,200,000 (according to PublisherChallenge.com). The best part is once you refer someone to an affiliate network your work is done and, depending on how the affiliate networks referral program is setup, you could earn off them for every penny they earn from that point forward. Guess what the best part of all that is? PeerFly has one of the best paying referral programs out of all the affiliate networks in the industry!

Earn 5% for LIFE

When you refer new publishers to PeerFly you will earn 5% commission on everything they earn for the life of their account. Most affiliate networks only pay for 6 months to a year and typically that’s only at 2%. We appreciate your help in building our network.

We simply add the 5% on every lead your referrals generate to your balance for the day. You can view all your referrals and their account status at your Referrals page once you’re logged in to PeerFly. This page also shows you how much commission you have earned off that referral (PFID).

Referral Link and Banners

Your referral link (http://peerfly.com/?r=PFID) is available on the Referrals page. You can find different sized PeerFly banners here. We are hoping to get some new referral banners up soon.

Start Referring Today!

We get hundreds of new Publisher applications every single day. All you have to do to start earning 5% of the earnings of all of those publishers is get your link out there and tell people about PeerFly. Last year we paid out 6 figures to our publishers JUST in referral earnings.

Of course, you must be an approved PeerFly publisher to get a referral link and use our referral program. If you have not applied yet, join PeerFly today. Yes, that page has MY referral link :)

Find Popular Affiliate Blogs

find affiliate blogs

We get a lot of affiliates new to the industry at PeerFly. We are very popular on affiliate marketing forums like WarriorForum where aspiring affiliate marketers roam searching for information on affiliate marketing and what affiliate networks to join. This is great! I love to manage new affiliates and have no issue answering their questions and helping push them along as they learn (as long as they are willing putting forth an effort).

One of the first questions they ask is where they can find more information besides bugging me, their affiliate manager. My number one suggestion is to go out and read everything they can from affiliate blogs, which is one of the reasons I started this blog. But, where should you look to find those?

Affiliate Marketing News Aggregates

One of the best places to find information on affiliate marketing is affiliate blogs. There are thousands of great posts on there on pretty much every topic within affiliate marketing (affiliate network reviews, different traffic sources, how to use certain traffic sources effectively, what type ad to use where, etc.) and you can access them all (primarily) for free! I’ve found that the best way to go about this is by looking through the different affiliate marketing news aggregates to find the best blogs and then read through those blogs for great blog posts. There are currently two aggregates that I use.

affbuzz Find Popular Affiliate Blogs

Affbuzz

Affbuzz is the original source for affiliate marketing news. It is updated daily with posts from about 70 different affiliate blogs. They feature the most popular posts for the day, the most popular posts for yesterday, and the most popular for the week.

Affbuzz is great, but is pretty limited. They have a resources page that is pretty dull and a blog that hasn’t been updated in months. They also have an RSS feed that is currently broken, but I’ve contacted them about getting it fixed as soon as possible because my affbuzz.mobi site utilizes it for new blog posts.

affdaily2 Find Popular Affiliate Blogs

Affdaily

Affdaily is the new kid on the block as far as affiliate marketing news aggregates go. The site was launched earlier this year and is a sister site of popular affiliate network review site, AffiliatePaying.com. When you head over to Affdaily you’ll immediately notice the similarities between it and Affbuzz. They have about 60 different affiliate blogs listed (including this one) and also feature the popular blogs from today, yesterday, and last week.

The nice thing about Affdaily and the reason I like it more than Affbuzz is that it seems well put together and has a cleaner interface. This is something you would expect from the creators of AffiliatePaying, but it really shows they put their time into the site. Affbuzz seems a little thrown together.

Affdaily also allows you to sign up and customize your feed. You can also view Twitter feeds of affiliate marketers, which is a pretty cool feature Affbuzz lacks.

These are two pretty good resources for any affiliate marketer. I usually check both every day or every other day to see what is happening outside of PeerFly. I personally like reading and recommend the following blogs (in no particular order):

These are blogs that I have been reading for awhile and have found good information on. They are also the ones I comment on frequently.

So, if you are an affiliate marketer and haven’t checked out Affbuzz or Affdaily yet I highly suggest it! They are great resources of free information that can help you make more money online.

PeerFly API and Feeds

peerfly feed xml featured

I know that a large percentage of affiliate marketers start out in web development. It’s a trend. You start out in web development creating small websites (GeoCities anyone?) and as you learn more and more about web development you start considering how to monetize your traffic. So, you go sign up for Google AdSense and toss some javascript on your website and all of the sudden you’re making money. Then, you start researching different ways to make money online and eventually you land on affiliate marketing. This is the case for a good percentage of affiliates in the industry.

So, as a webmaster you have learned the basic skills of HTML and (hopefully) CSS. If you’re really ambitious you move into programming languages. If this is you it is time to start using our PeerFly API to increase your productivity and start making more money!

PeerFly XML and RSS Feeds

At PeerFly, we have 5 different feeds.

  • All Offers
  • Popular Offers
  • Paused Offers
  • Account Info
  • Daily Earnings

Any approved PeerFly publisher has access to all of these feeds and their very own API key for authentication. I have personally created four different applications from these feeds and those applications are used by thousands of people every day.

  1. PeerFly Stats for Firefox
  2. PeerFly Offers
  3. PeerFly Banners
  4. PeerFly Stats for Google Chrome (to be released in the next week!)

I actually also created a mobile version of PeerFly using jQuery Mobile that Tyler Cruz and I were testing, but I never made it public because there were some security issues with it and I could not really come up with a way around it. We do plan on making some updates to the mobile version of PeerFly soon though.

So, if you’re a developer I highly suggest you take a look at our API and see what you can do with it. This is a great way to generate referrals (we pay 5% on any referral you send to PeerFly!) and you’re welcome to monetize anything you make how you feel will work best for you (we do not restrict this).

If you have any ideas for applications or features for PeerFly in general please feel free to send them over to us! We have the advantage of being able to implement any features you are looking for whereas our competitors have to work with what they are given. Take advantage of it and let’s make some money :)
